Today, poverty is striking broad layers of the workers who produce all the social wealth, youth unemployment has dramatic consequences, while a handful of rich people are getting richer.

The corrupt ruling classes are reinforcing the authoritarian and despotic methods of their governments, eliminating the democratic rights and freedoms of the workers and severely repressing the protests of the workers and peoples, thus perpetuating their privileges and power.

The imperialist and capitalist powers are at war against the interests of the working class and peoples. They are reaming and becoming more aggressive in order to impose their exploitation and domination.

As a result of the economic plunder and wars of plunder, large waves of migration from the poor and dependent countries to the rich and dominating ones are taking place, while the latter are closing their borders.

At the same time, imperialism with its wars and military aggression is generating reactionary and fascist terror, which is used to redraw the maps of entire regions, in order to keep the masses in obscurantism.

In the present situation, which shows that capitalism is incompatible with the interests of the working class and peoples, the ICMLPO calls on people to celebrate this May 1 by strengthening their class unity and solidarity, in order to create the united front in the common struggle of all the workers against the offensive of capital, political reaction, the policy of imperialist war and fascist terror.

We call on the working class to rely on his great strength and strengthen its unity and struggle in each country and worldwide.

Let us broaden and intensify the struggle against capitalist exploitation and attacks of the padrones, favored by their opportunistic accomplices, for the intransigent defense of the political and economic interests of the working class and its organizations, so that the ruling classes bear the brunt of the crisis.

Let us broaden and intensify the struggle against bourgeois reaction in all its forms, let us raise the banner of freedom and rights of the working class and the popular masses threatened by the bourgeoisie and the reactionary and fascist forces.

Let us broaden and intensify the fight against predatory war and imperialist interventions, against rearmament and the militarization measures applied by the bourgeois governments.

Let us unite and strengthen the organizations of the working class against the bourgeoisie in each country, in order to break the capitalist-imperialist chain and build a new society without the exploitation of man by man.
